Exact Fares Are Required – Our Drivers Do Not Carry Change.

Tokens may be purchased at the Dispatch Office located at 377 Logan Street or from the driver. Tokens purchased from the driver are sold as (20) $1.50 tokens for $30.00. Drivers do not carry cash and are not able to make change for purchases.  These tokens can be used in lieu of cash. 

RULES & REGULATIONS

We offer comfortable seating and each vehicle is wheel chair accessibility. To schedule your ride, please call 517-265-4444 and let the dispatcher know where you need to be picked up and where you want to go. The dispatcher will send a bus to pick you up.

We request a three (3) business day notice for transportation to medical appointments.  Please leave a message on our medical line 517-265-4444    (option 1) and we will return your call.  We have until the day before the appointment to confirm your reservation. 

  • Please let the dispatcher know if you have special needs for a wheel chair lift equipped bus.
  • Please let the dispatcher know if you have an appointment.
  • Please cancel your ride if you are NOT going to need our service.

Please call ahead and allow 1 hour for the bus to arrive. You may make several stops before arriving at your destination, so plan for a slightly longer ride on the bus than you would expect in a car.

  • Passengers are responsible for carrying their own packages from store to bus and from bus to home.
  • Please limit your carry on baggage to 3 grocery size packages. You must be able to keep control of your items and they must fit within your personal space. 
  •  For your safety, please consider traveling with a personal assistant/aide if you require extra assistance in using transportation services.
  • Persons with disabilities may be accompanied by working service animals while riding in vehicles. Please make the dispatcher aware when scheduling the ride that you will have an animal accompanying you.
  • For the convenience of all, all forms of smoking is not allowed on board the LPTA vehicles.
  • LPTA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
